Big Herringbone Cowl
It is a blustery, rainy afternoon and Baby E has surprised me by going down for a late afternoon nap so I thought I’d sip on a cup of tea and share another knitting project from the archives. This cowl is one of my favorite projects from last year and it is perfect for weather like this!
I used the Big Herringbone Cowl pattern from Purl Bee but double up my yarn as I was dying to use a tweedy Alpaca that I had purchased at the Michigan Fiber Festival. The result was a beautiful, THICK cowl that stood up great to its first Chicago winter. (Which was quite a bitter one!)….
Please excuse the photos, It is a slight bit “nappy” as it is on its second year. 🙂
